Our Commitment
OurDailyCalc is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continuously work to improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards.
Standards
We aim to conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.
What We Do
- Keyboard navigation — All calculators and interactive elements are fully navigable using a keyboard alone
- Screen reader support — We use semantic HTML, ARIA labels, and proper heading hierarchy to ensure compatibility with screen readers
- Color contrast — Text and interactive elements maintain WCAG AA minimum contrast ratios in both light and dark mode
- Focus indicators — Visible focus rings are displayed on all interactive elements for keyboard users
- Reduced motion — All animations respect the
prefers-reduced-motionsystem setting - Responsive design — All pages are usable across screen sizes from mobile phones to large monitors
- Semantic structure — Proper heading levels, landmarks, and page structure for assistive technology navigation
Known Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, some areas may have limitations:
- Some older calculator pages may have suboptimal screen reader descriptions
- Complex chart visualizations may not convey all data to screen readers
- PDF exports may not be fully accessible
We are actively working to address these limitations.
