FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How many slices are in a standard pizza?
A standard large 14-inch pizza usually has 8 slices. A medium 12-inch pizza also has 8 slices, but they are smaller. An extra-large 16-inch pizza typically has 10 or 12 slices.
How many slices should I plan per person?
A good rule of thumb is 3 slices per adult and 2 slices per child for an average hunger level. If it's the main meal or people are very hungry, plan for 4 slices per adult.
What if we want multiple toppings?
Always include at least one plain cheese and one pepperoni, as they are crowd-pleasers. For a large group, a ratio of 40% cheese, 40% pepperoni, and 20% specialty is safe.
